Good morning CraftyStealers!
It’s challenge time again, and today we are changing things up a bit. Instead of giving you a sketch to work off of, I’m going to challenge you to use something you already have!
Earlier this week on the Facebook page, I asked all of you to tell me what one thing in your stash you have a lot of, but don’t seem to use much. The overwhelming answer was BRADS! (followed closely by eyelets and (surprisingly) ribbons.
So the challenge today? Use brads on a layout, a card or any altered art or project. Get creative and use all of those fabulous steals you have gotten (to make room for more, right? ).
Here are a few ideas to get the creative juices flowing. Try using brads:
- as the center of a flower
- as polka dots
- to hold a line of twine or ribbon for a banner
- to attach a sentiment flag on the card
- to spell out a title
The challenge starts now, and ends on Sunday night at midnight CST. Post a photo of project to the LinkyTool at the bottom of this post. (Where it says “Click Here to Enter”). You’ll need to link your photo – and you can do so by using an offsite photo hosting site like Photobucket, Flickr, your own website or a public Facebook album. I’ll make sure the voting is turned on, and the project with the most votes (“likes”) will receive some CraftySteals goodies to refill your stash! Voting will end at 9 am on Monday and I will post the winner on the blog that afternoon.
Happy crafting – I’m looking forward to seeing what you can do with your brads!
