I’m having a lot of fun playing with paper this month. You see, we are moving in a few months, so I’m slowly going through, cleaning out, and of course where my craft room is concerned, finding fun things to create with! I came across my scrap stash (please tell me I’m not the only one who can’t stand to get rid of scraps!) and decided to use those as a base for a project.
I love Valentine’s Day because I can focus on just a few cards, and make them fabulous. Today I want to share the card I made for my daughter.
She loves blue, so I started there, collecting blue bits and pieces. I chose to keep everything the same color, but obviously there are different shades and patterns. The idea was to bring all of these different shades together, but make them look cohesive by using the same shape. I chose to arrange them in clusters and to make my sentiment simple as well.
Are you making any Valentine’s Day cards or gifts this weekend?
